Astral Bodies

Astral Bodies is a traveling scenery which transforms the presentation of a new material into a sensory and spatial experience.

Inspired by the ancient fascination that meteorites have aroused, this project explores the limits of ephemeral architecture, integrating the material Fibracolour of FINSA as a formal and conceptual protagonist. A collection of suspended, tactile, and chromatic celestial bodies that reconfigure each space as if it were a fragment of the cosmos.

Strategy

The project responds to the challenge of providing an experiential and narrative character to the launch of a new industrial product. The strategy is based on Activate the visitor's senses through immersive narrative which associates the material with a powerful and universal imaginary: the astral universe.

The scenery transforms each environment into a sensory capsule that stimulates exploration and wonder, reinforcing the innovative and creative positioning of the FINSA brand in professional environments.

"Each astral body is a point of association between the material force of Fibracolour and the visitor's awe at the spatial narrative."

Impact

Astral Bodies has toured multiple European cities such as Milan, Valencia, Lisbon, Madrid and Marbella, establishing itself as an adaptable, sustainable, and visually impactful exhibition format. It has generated new forms of interaction between the brand and the professional public, allowing FINSA to expand its network of contacts and showcase its Fibracolour material in a contemporary and emotionally resonant design context.

The project received the Silver Emporia for the best traveling ephemeral production, and has become a benchmark for exhibition architecture within the design and construction materials sector.

"Astral Bodies is a tangible demonstration that ephemerality is not at odds with legacy, because, even today, it remains in the memory of those who experienced it."
