At Enorme Studio we work as a horizontal equipment, where each project is a collective construction between the space and the entity that promotes it.

Our methodology combines active listening, co-design and a strategic view which seeks not only to design spaces, but also to generate shared processes that make them relevant and transformative.

Rocio Pina

Since I was a child, I was interested in observing how a square, a house, or even a simple room could influence mood, relationships between people, and the way we live. I studied at the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM), and over time, I understood that Architecture not only builds places, but also connections, stories and possible futures.

I am particularly interested in what architecture transforms when it stops thinking from the ego and becomes a tool to activate communities, generate debate and provoke new ways of livingOur generation has had to learn to unlearn, and in that process I've found an immense creative opportunity.

In addition to co-founding Enorme Studio, I am a teacher at the IE Business School, in it IED Madrid and I have collaborated with institutions such as the Umeå University, in Sweden. I'm driven by the idea that spaces should excite, be useful, and open up possibilities. That's why, design not only to solve, but to question, provoke and inspire.

Carmelo Rodríguez

I grew up fascinated by architecture's ability to provoke relationships, imaginaries and new ways of being in the worldI trained at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM), where I also obtained my doctorate with a thesis on the future as a project toolBut it was the economic crisis that pushed me to question everything: the formats, the discourses, the ways of practicing. And that's when I decided to relearn everything from the small, the collective, the transformative.

Today I develop my practice between design, teaching and research. I teach in UDIT, in the ETSAM and in the IED Madrid, among other institutions. What interests me most is how an idea—no matter how simple it may seem—can become architecture: ephemeral, portable, critical, or profoundly useful.

With Enorme Studio we work so that every space we design is a possibility. Not a final outcome, but an invitation: to activate it, to inhabit it, to think about it differently.
